    4 big screens, everywhere

    Two on the ground floor, two upstairs. Wherever you sit, there's always one in your line of sight.

  2. 02 · The sound

    Commentary, not chaos

    Carefully tuned sound: you can hear the commentary without having to shout to talk to the person next to you. It's a pub, not a concert venue.

  3. 03 · The crowd

    Locals, supporters, visitors

    BO and Aviron regulars, travelling supporters, curious visitors. The unwritten rule: friendly banter, plenty of laughs, no one takes it too far.

The full rugby season, from the BAB derby to the European final.

French championships

  • Top 14 — the full regular season, knockout rounds and the final.
  • Pro D2 — Aviron Bayonnais, Biarritz Olympique and the other top clubs.
  • Biarritz Olympique — every match, home and away.
  • Aviron Bayonnais — the full season, and of course the derbies against BO.

European & international competitions

  • 6 Nations — France's XV plus every other fixture in the tournament.
  • Champions Cup — the European champions' cup.
  • Challenge Cup — the second European cup.
  • Rugby World Cup — plus international tests — autumn tour, Rugby Championship and more.

On the football and tennis side: Ligue 1, Liga, Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, plus the big ATP tournaments. We make room for the fixtures that matter.

We announce the matches we're showing first on Instagram @mollyspub.biarritz. TV programming changes every week, especially during knockout rounds — it's the most reliable channel to check whether your match will be on.

Practical tips

Getting the most out of match day at Molly's

  • Big match (6 Nations, Top 14 final, BO-Aviron derby): arrive early, at least 30 min before kick-off, to get a good spot.
  • Midweek match (Top 14 Friday night, Pro D2 Thursday/Sunday): more relaxed atmosphere, you'll usually find space without having to rush.
  • Very early or very late kick-off (World Cup in Australia, autumn tour): we adapt our opening hours — the update goes out on Instagram.
  • Coming as a group (10+ people — sports team, group of friends): drop us a message on WhatsApp or email and we'll set aside a section for you. For larger groups, you can also privatise the upstairs floor from 25 people.
